Call to Action: Indiana State House

We have witnessed over the past week the debacle at the Statehouse.  We have taken to the streets at the Statehouse and that isn't enough.

Some have said that the walk-out by the Indiana Dems was over one bill - the Right to Work bill.  From day one, we knew it was more than that.  In a quote from the Indy Star, "In addition to the two bills they want killed, Democrats said they have concerns about a raft of other bills targeting labor unions and education reforms."

Let's face it - the Dems didn't like the bills that were going to be heard and so they fled their duty, their responsibility, their constituents, their State and most importantly their oath.  We know that elections have consequences.  Hoosiers spoke at the ballot box this past November 2010 and said they didn't like the direction of the leadership.  There was a sweeping change in leadership from Indiana that stretched throughout the United States.

Phone Call TO Action - March 2 & March 3   ** Noon - 1 AND 4-5 PM (Daily)**

1.)   Call & Email your House Rep & State Senator.
You can look up your senators and representatives here:    http://district.iga.in.gov/DistrictLookup

Ask your House Rep & State Senator to remain strong. If you live in a democrat district, demand that your representative return to work.

2.)  Call 1-800-382-9841 & ask for Speaker of the House Brian Bosma's office and email: h88@iga.in.gov.

Let Bosma and his staff know that we want our leadership to remain vigilant and strong and not give into the concessions by the Democrats who have walked-out (Remember:  The Democrats want 11 bills to die before they will return to our State.)

Let Bosma and his staff know that you want the Right to Work bill AND ALL OTHER BILLS to have a chance to be heard on the House Floor.

3.) Call 1-800-382-9467 & ask for Senator David Long's office and email: s16@iga.in.gov.

Senate President Pro-Tem David Long said, "the Republican-ruled Senate won't push a so-called "right-to-work" bill that would prohibit union membership from being a condition of employment. Long says the Senate will instead propose a study committee to look into the matter over the summer."

Let Long and his staff know that if the Right-to-Work bill passes out of the House that they would take the bill and hear it within the Senate.

  4.)  Call Governor Daniel's office @ 317-232-4567.

Let Daniels and his staff know we want a leader here in Indiana with their feet planted firmly.

**NOTE:  CALL TO ACTION WILL HAPPEN ON WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY REGARDLESS IF THE DEMS RETURN TO WORK**
