In addition to discussion of the ongoing issues (who can keep up with them???), we will have a speaker on one of those issues, Common Core.  Dan Thiele, whom I met and heard speak in both Auburn and Carmel, is a board member of ReFoundersIN and a true patriot who is well versed and passionate about stopping Common Core.  If you know a lot or very little about Common Core, I am sure you will find Dan's presentation enlightening about this disturbing change in our education system.

STAND UP TO IRS...WASHINGTON RALLY!

See below that Tea Party Patriots is organizing a rally in Washington DC on June 19.  We have heard through the Indiana Tea Party Coalition that there are groups around us planning bus trips.  We will pass that information along to you as we receive it. Everyone who can needs to be there!  For now, save the date!

Audit the IRS Rally - June 19, 2013

Are you ready to take a stand against the IRS in a big way? On Wednesday, June 19, 2013 from noon to 2pm, Tea Party Patriots is hosting an Audit the IRS Rally.

We have heard from patriots all across the country that we need to show Washington in a BIG WAY that it is outrageous for a government agency to target groups and individuals based on their individual beliefs.

Citizens in Action is a participating member of  the Indiana Tea Party Coalition that was formed earlier this year.  This group exchanges ideas and sponsors events with the intention of providing a larger and united voice on the issues facing our country today.  A new website has been created by one of the members of the Coalition that is meant to be a depository for articles, meeting notices, and a place to exchange ideas http://patriothub-in.com/

COME TO 5/7 CIA MEETING!

Our next CIA meeting will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 6:00 pm at Spurlock's Restaurant, 721 Main Street, Lafayette. For those who are interested in eating dinner, we will be ordering from their standard menu.

There will be lots of stuff to discuss at this meeting. I am sure you will agree that it is impossible to keep up with our lawmakers and their shenanigans, but we are sure trying! Thanks to the Central Indiana Coalition of Tea Parties, of which Citizens in Action is a member, great strides are being made with getting the attention of our state and national lawmakers. Our meeting Tuesday night therefore will center around those activities, which include meetings and communication with lawmakers on various bills, the KrisAnne Hall Constitution Seminar, and the anti-Common Core rallies, to name a few.

 It is becoming perfectly clear that unless the States (interchangeable with “We the People” in the Constitution) step up and push back against the Feds, we’re toast. We all have to be aware and ready to help. So come join your fellow patriots and hear what’s happening and what you can do!

Bill of Rights/Constitution Seminar

Greetings, Fellow Patriots!

Our Constitution is under attack on many fronts!  How well can you defend your Constitutional rights? 

We urge you to take advantage of an upcoming opportunity to learn how you can become an effective communicator of the Constitution from nationally-known expert KrisAnne Hall.  This Bill of Rights/Constitution Seminar will be held Saturday, May 4, 9:00 am to 3:30 pm, at the Montgomery County 4H Fairgrounds, 400 Parke Avenue in Crawfordsville.  Your only cost will be $7.00, which includes a Subway sandwich/chips lunch, bottled water all day, and a pocket U.S. Constitution.  This event is sponsored by the Montgomery County Tea Party and the Crawfordsville 9/12 Project.  Doors will open at 8:00 am. Tickets will be available at the door.

KrisAnne Hall is an author, former prosecutor, Constitutional attorney, disabled U.S. Army veteran, a Russian linguist, a mother, and a pastor's wife. A true patriot, she travels around the country educating citizens about the U.S. Constitution and will inspire you to continue the fight to return America to greatness!
